Segambut MP, Hannah Yeoh has started an online series, titled “Dapur Hanayo” featuring herself, where she brings viewers into her kitchen and whips up dishes that are easy and quick to make.
According to Malay Mail, Yeoh admitted that she was still new at cooking, but like many other Malaysians, she had to hone her skills after the movement control order (MCO) was implemented in the country last year.
“I’m not a good cook, but since the MCO, I learned bit-by-bit from YouTube.
“I always look for recipe videos that are easy and don’t go past five minutes because I am not a pro chef,” she said.
In her latest episode, Hannah Yeoh shared the ikan tenggiri curry recipe along with some tips for beginners. She also admitted that she wasn’t always sure if what she cooked would end up tasting good.
“Whether it’s nice or not, I don’t know,” she said.
Our favourite is when she made the creamy butter chicken. It looks so good!
The mother of two also said that she hopes the recipes can benefit working adults who may be strapped for time when it comes to preparing their meals at home.
We will definitely give one of her recipes a try!
