BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE are back with their third major album ‘Back & Forth’.
The 12-track album, 'Back & Forth', not only features the group's signature sound but also introduces three brand new songs, each distinct in its emotional depth and musical style. This brand-new album will be available on all major digital streaming platforms on February 21, 2024.
‘Back & Forth’ embodies BALLISTIK BOYZ’s journey of overcoming obstacles, strengthening bonds, and continuously propelling forward. The album reflects the group’s resilience and determination to navigate the challenges of their artistic pursuit, while deepening connections with their audience.
Leading the charge is ‘In My Head’, a heart-wrenching anthem born from poignant memories of love. Crafted with a catchy chorus and soul-stirring pop-acoustic melodies, this track, penned by the members themselves, promises an emotional journey that lingers long after the music fades.
‘God Mode’ was recently released in January this year. The single serves as the bold team theme song of "Sigma Squad" from the popular TV Tokyo anime "Bucchigiri?!” With its fierce Hip-Hop vibe, the song mirrors both the BALLISTIK BOYZ’s rebellious spirit and the anime’s daring ethos, inviting fans to revel in their boundless energy.
Meanwhile, ‘N.E.X.T.’, a soul-stirring ballad adorned with piano and strings, emerged during the "BALLISTIK BOYZ LIVE TOUR 2023 'N.E.X.T.'." A heartfelt reflection on the pursuit of dreams, this member-penned piece captivates with its raw emotion, offering solace and inspiration to listeners worldwide. Having garnered strong support, the lyric video is available for fans on YouTube.
In addition to these new tracks, 'Back & Forth' is curated with other recent hits from the BALLISTIK BOYZ's musical journey. Collaborative gems like ‘Drop Dead feat. TRINITY' and 'All I Ever Wanted feat. GULF KANAWUT' have amassed a combined 20 million views on YouTube and marked the group’s expansion into the Thailand music scene.
Furthermore, the dynamic ‘Dramatic Wo Nokoshitai’ (Wanna keep it Dramatic), which emerged as the official theme for the “SoftBank WINTER CUP 2022.” basketball tournament, infuses the album with infectious energy and motivation.
