M’sian Woman Travels To Singapore To Surprise Boyfriend Who She Never Met, But He Never Showed Up

In this day and age, finding love on dating apps or social media is totally normal.

There is no denying that many people nowadays find their soulmate online. And there are also couples who are in a long distance relationship who only talk to their partner via text messages.

Recently, a Malaysian woman went viral after she shared her story about her relationship with a man who allegedly lived in Singapore. She said that they connected on social media and began a long-distance relationship that went on for six years.

However, they have never met each other!

The woman shared her story on TikTok saying that had travelled all the way from Ipoh, Perak to Singapore to surprise her boyfriend, however the man never showed up and just left her waiting for hours by herself.

“This is my first time boarding a plane. Because he is so busy with work, I thought I’d come to Singapore to surprise him,” her caption reads.

In fact, the boyfriend even promised her that they would meet for lunch the next day, but instead of showing up, he disappeared and left the woman waiting until 1 AM!

The next day, the “boyfriend” texted her again apologizing, but this time he told her that he will be marrying someone else and that she shouldn’t wait for him anymore. How terrible!

Netizens took to the comment section saying how they sympathize and hope that she finds someone better in the future, “You’ve just got scammed, but it’s okay, just walk away and move on girl!”

We hope she’s feeling better now!

Talking to people can be a fun experience if it’s done right. You basically get to meet new people online and there’s absolutely nothing bad about it. However, remember that the people you meet online are still strangers, no matter how long you have been talking to them.

Stay safe online!
