However, items like money should always be kept at a bank because if something were to happen to your home like a flash flood or house fire, that will definitely damage your money.
Recently, a video went viral on TikTok of a woman who kept all of her savings at home. But then found that the money was destroyed by termites. Alamak!
In the video, user @rasyada91 shows a stack of paper money that she kept in her house. What’s interesting is that holes and tears can be seen on the RM100 and RM50 notes. It is believed that the notes have been “eaten” by termites.
Oh no, that looks like a lot of money!
The video has since garnered over 641.8 thousand views and over 19.8 thousand likes at the time of writing.
“To be safe, next time, you can keep the money in my wallet,” said one person.
Ahh, that is so sad!
