“My Grandfather’s Road!” Woman Jumps With Excitement After Seeing Her Grandfather’s Name On Road Sign In Melaka

And growing up in Malaysia, you will eventually pick up on the local language, “Your grandfather’s road is it?” which is usually used to tell someone off when they block others or misuse a place or road.

However, for one Malaysian, she can literally tell people that it’s her grandfather’s road. In a TikTok video that recently went viral, shows a woman who was proud to see her grandfather’s name on a road sign in Jasin, Melaka. 

The video that was uploaded by user @rina.omar shows a young woman who was jumping excitedly under a road sign that has her grandfather’s name on it, “Yes, this IS my grandfather’s road” the caption reads.

The video caught netizens’ attention and has since garnered over 90,000 views at the time of writing. 

“Wah, she can literally tell people off and say ‘this IS my grandfather’s road’ how do I get this much power?!” one person said jokingly.
