A video recently went viral online of a wild elephant wandering through a neighbourhood at night, allegedly in Kluang, Johor.
In the video, the elephant can be seen walking fairly close to someone’s home… believed to be looking for food.

Following the viral video, many other videos of the elephant started popping up online. One video shows another elephant crossing a road before entering a residential area, looking for food.
The elephants were also seen tearing down fences and grazing on plants along the roadside.
Malaysians took to the comment section to express their heartfelt sympathies towards the gentle giant, whose habitat is now gone due to human activities, “Their homes are gone and it’s all because of our greed,” one person said.
It was believed that there was more than one elephant wandering around the residential areas in Kluang.

Ahh the poor elephants must be so hungry and confused!
We hope the authorities have been informed of these lost elephants so that they can be transferred somewhere far away from humans!
