And after two medical exams conducted in 2017, she found out that one of her kidneys is missing.

It was also reported that the woman accused her husband of stealing her kidney as he has repeatedly demanded a dowry. In case you don’t know, a dowry is traditionally paid from a bride’s family to a husband’s, and has been banned in India since 1961.

The victim, Rita Sarkar said she had been the victim of domestic abuse over the dowry issue for many years, “My husband took me to a private nursing home in Kolkata, where he and the medical staff told me that I would be fine after removing my “inflamed appendix.””

She also added that her husband warned her to not disclose about the surgery in Kolkata to anyone.

Hm, something smells fishy…

Months later, she started experiencing stomach pains and was taken to a doctor by her family.

Scans then revealed that her right kidney was missing. A second medical exam confirmed the diagnosis.

That is wild! How did the husband manage to steal her kidney?!
