A TikTok video recently went viral of a monitor lizard chasing a man while it was trying to get away from another man who was recording it.

In the video, shared by TikTok user @_pamszzz shows a giant monitor lizard squeezing itself out from in between a steel gate at what looks like a closed shop.
A man, who was just standing near the gate, startled the lizard which caused it to quickly run to the other side. However, there was another man standing on the other side, who freaked out when he saw the lizard running towards him.
The man immediately turned away and ran as fast as he could while the monitor lizard followed closely behind.
It’s hilarious!
The video has since garnered over 4.7 million views at the time of writing.
Internet users shared their amusement in the comment section saying: “The more you chase it, the more it runs.”
“The camera man is always safe. The poor man who was just standing there was suddenly being chased by a giant lizard!”
