Known as Yeehwa, Kulthida has been making waves after videos of her selling fried chicken at the Wat Asokaram market in Samut Prakan went viral. These videos, shared on various social media platforms, have captured widespread attention. One video posted by @kingstreetfood5 on TikTok has been viewed over 1.2 million times, while another has garnered at least 924,300 views.
Yeehwa's mother explained to the Bangkok Post that her daughter was helping out at the family’s fried chicken stall when people began to comment on her likeness to the K-pop star.
Currently, Yeehwa has returned to Phichit, a province about five hours away from Samut Prakan, where she is continuing her studies. Her mother mentioned that Yeehwa usually helps at the market during school breaks.
Despite the sudden spotlight, Yeehwa remains modest and a bit embarrassed by the attention, according to the Bangkok Post. However, she is also excited about the resemblance and has shown interest in the entertainment industry, participating in related activities at school.
"I'm very happy and excited to resemble an admired singer like Lisa," Yeehwa told the Bangkok Post.
In a world where social media can often feel overwhelming, Yeehwa's story is a reminder of the simple joys of family and community. Whether selling fried chicken or chasing her dreams, Yeehwa's genuine spirit shines through, inspiring those around her.
