SHINee's Key Revisits Y2K Nostalgia on 'I Live Alone,' Rediscovering His Treasured Memories

SHINee, a legendary South Korean boy group formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, is widely recognised for their pioneering music, sharp choreography, and trendsetting style. 

They shot to fame in the late 2000s with hits such as "Replay" and "Ring Ding Dong," solidifying their status as K-pop icons. Key, one of SHINee's beloved members, is celebrated for his versatility as a singer, dancer, and performer. His kindness, creativity, and deep connection with fans have made him a standout figure in the industry. 

Today, Key remains one of the most iconic Korean idols, embodying both artistic excellence and genuine warmth.

On the 30th of August episode of MBC's variety show I Live Alone, Key took viewers on a nostalgic journey back to the Y2K era. After completing a hectic Asia tour, he enjoyed a rare day off, starting with a simple meal of naengmyeon (cold noodles) and yeolmu kimchi, perfect for cooling down during the summer.

During the episode, Key unearthed a box filled with old music CDs, his first movie videotape, MR recordings from his trainee days, and nostalgic PC games. He fondly recalled how he used to save his allowance to buy albums in support of his favourite artists, and these treasured items brought back a wave of memories.
