These scalpers have been spotted on various e-commerce platforms, shamelessly reselling Coldplay tickets at exorbitant prices. For instance, the My Universe VIP Package, originally priced at RM2,108, is now being listed for a staggering RM4,000 by scalpers.
Not only that, but tickets from lower categories, such as Category 6 (originally priced at RM398), are being sold for inflated amounts ranging from RM500 to RM600. Category 4 tickets (originally priced at RM598) are also being marked up significantly, with scalpers demanding RM950 per ticket.
To add to the peculiarity of the situation, there are even individuals offering ticket purchasing services for fees as high as RM100.
They claim to handle the stressful task of securing your desired tickets but require upfront payment for the tickets. In the event of failure, they promise a refund.
However, this arrangement raises suspicions.
It is disheartening that genuine Coldplay enthusiasts who eagerly queued up to secure their tickets have been left disappointed, while scalpers are capitalizing on the band's popularity to make substantial profits.
The actions of these opportunistic individuals undermine the experience for true fans who simply want to enjoy Coldplay's live performances.
It’s important that you know to STAY AWAY from scalpers and their inflated ticket prices because by purchasing from them, you are inadvertently supporting their unethical practices by exploiting the demand for tickets, driving up prices and taking advantage of genuine fans who are willing to pay a premium to attend the concert.

Moreover, buying from scalpers carries risks... There is no guarantee that the tickets they sell are legitimate or valid.
It's not uncommon to hear stories of disappointed fans being turned away at the venue because the tickets they purchased from scalpers turned out to be counterfeit or already used.
