However, recently, a Facebook post that went viral stole Malaysians’ hearts showing photos of the people of Gaza who also celebrated the country’s Independence Day, to show their love and gratitude to Malaysians for their support for Palestine.
The people of Gaza held a special independence marathon on 31 August to celebrate the special day!
Another video, shared by Muhammad Nadir Al-Nuri on his Instagram page also shows Palestinians wishing Malaysians a Happy Independence Day.
“Pray for Palestine’s independence too,” the caption reads.
