Nurul Izzah Anwar never fails to move hearts by providing help to those in need!
The former MP recently published a Facebook update sharing how she collaborated with Machang Bubok assemblyman Lee Khai Loon to purchase and gift brand-new motorcycles to some of the Flat Tuna residents in Seberang Jaya, Penang who had lost their motorcycles in a fire.

"A few days ago, I got a message from a resident in Seberang Jaya requesting assistance. He told me that 15 residents of Flat Tuna in Seberang Jaya are dejected since they lost their motorcycles in a fire.
“‘It is the residents’ only means of transportation for getting to work, dropping off their children at school, and basically to move around to go about their day’ he told me,” Nurul Izzah wrote.
She said that those who were affected came from low-income households which is a struggle for them when it comes to buying a new motorcycle.
“I am no longer the MP for Permatang Pauh, but many still ask me for help. I then spoke to Lee Khai Loon and we managed to collect RM30,000 in donations to help buy 15 new motorcycles for them,” she added.
The motorcycles were RM4,000 each, however they managed to purchase it for RM3,500 instead after some negotiating, “The shop owner was very kind. He gave us a discount after finding out about our joint effort to help low-income families.”
