"Proud!" Fans Excited to See NCT's Taeyong Wearing Platoon Leader Armband at Welcoming Ceremony

NCT's Taeyong demonstrated his exceptional leadership at the Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy's new recruit welcoming ceremony, held on April 24. Fans were delighted to see him taking charge and showing his skills in a new setting.

At the event, Taeyong stood out in the front row, wearing a blue armband with the words "New Recruit 2nd Squadron Platoon Leader." His impeccable posture and vibrant energy were evident as he took the oath alongside other new recruits, displaying the same commitment that has made him a respected leader in NCT.

This new role as platoon leader comes naturally for Taeyong, given his experience as NCT's leader. Fans couldn't be prouder to see him take on a leadership role in the Navy. They celebrated his dedication and admired his adaptability in embracing the rigors of military life.

Taeyong enlisted for his mandatory military service with the ROK Navy on April 15 and is scheduled for discharge on December 14, 2025. 

As he embarks on this journey, his fans continue to support him and wish him well throughout his service.
