"Collab, When?" NASA Features Lyrics from aespa's Latest Song "Supernova" in Tweet, Thrilling Fans!

Around a week ago, aespa released "Supernova," a preview track from their highly anticipated debut album, Armageddon, which is set to be released on May 27.

"Supernova" has already achieved impressive success, earning aespa their first real time all-kill (RAK) on Korean music charts. This is a notable achievement for a pre-release track, showcasing the group's growing popularity. 

While the song has received mixed reviews, many fans are thrilled by its unique sound and nostalgic nods to early K-Pop.

In a surprising turn of events, aespa's reach extended to the cosmos. On May 18, NASA's Webb Telescope Twitter account shared an image of Cassiopeia A, a supernova remnant located in the Cassiopeia constellation about 11,000 light-years away. 

Accompanying the image was the "Su-su-su-supernova" lyric from aespa's song, which quickly went viral, garnering nearly five million views and over 25,000 retweets. Fans responded with excitement and humour, delighted by this unexpected promotion.

The NASA tweet also sparked discussions on online forums, where fans expressed their amusement and appreciation for the unexpected recognition of the girl group by such a prestigious institution.
