Malaysian Man Wakes from Five-Day Coma After Voice Note from Siti Nurhaliza

A Malaysian man who suffered a heart attack while visiting Australia has made an incredible recovery after being in a coma for five days. He believes a voice note from his favourite singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, played a key role in his healing.

Aimi Nasruddin was on holiday with friends in Sydney when the incident occurred on 9 July. While they were at Bondi Beach, Aimi decided to rest on a bench and told his friends to go on ahead. Moments later, he collapsed.

He received emergency CPR at the scene and was rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he was placed in a medically induced coma.

With Aimi unresponsive for several days, his father looked for ways to bring him back to consciousness. Knowing how much his son admired Siti Nurhaliza, he reached out to Aimi’s friends and asked if they could get in touch with the singer. Within an hour, she had sent a voice note filled with words of encouragement and faith.

Shortly after the message was played, Aimi’s hand began to move. It was the first positive sign doctors had seen.

“My father was amazed by her kindness and how quickly she responded. That voice note gave everyone hope,” Aimi shared on Instagram.

In the message, Siti Nurhaliza urged Aimi to stay strong and continue his prayers. “Aimi, recite selawat frequently, say istighfar, and keep doing zikir. Be strong. Aimi, do not give up. Thank you for supporting Kak Siti all this while. God willing, you will get through this,” she said.

Aimi regained consciousness on the sixth day after the heart attack. He has since returned to Malaysia and is slowly easing back into his daily routine. Just 20 days after the incident, he is already back at work and driving again.

“I see this as a blessing and a miracle from God. I believe my recovery came through divine will, the prayers of loved ones, and that powerful voice note,” he said.
