Meanwhile, Malaysians have done all they can to save their homes - as heavy rain and flood is usually expected in the country. An elderly man recently went viral for building a floating house using 69 plastic barrels, while others build “flood walls” with sandbags in an effort to keep flood water out.

However, there are also those who just deal with it as it happens… like this man from Terengganu who went viral on TikTok for resting on a kuali or a cooking pan as floods hit his home.

In the video that was shared by user @badsyam68 shows a man simply floating and taking it easy while waving to the camera. He looks so chill!

The video has since garnered over 17 million views at the time of writing.

Malaysians took to the comment section to share their amusement, adding how they are also “inspired by his calmness.”

“Uncle, you’re so chill! Just don’t open the door, you might float away,” said one person jokingly.

We wish we’re as chill as this Uncle! We hope he is doing well!
