Just recently, a man in Ipoh, Perak barely escaped when an armed robber got dangerously close to invading his home.

The incident was caught on CCTV and the video, which was shared by TikTok user @kakyonglegacy has since garnered over 118.4 thousand views at the time of writing.
In the video, the robber, who was wearing a helmet and armed with a machete or parang, can be seen trying to force his way inside the man’s home.
But as fate would have it, the robber awkwardly slipped on the floor mat at the front door which allowed the homeowner enough time to slam the door shut, and at the same time, stopping the robber from entering his home.
According to The Star, Ipoh OCPD, Officer in-Charge Police District, Yahaya Hassan, the incident happened last Friday (August 5th) at around 6:04 am.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 393 of the Penal Code for attempted robbery.
