Domestic violence is a serious problem!
According to Mayo Clinic, an abusive relationship involves an imbalance of power and control. An abuser usually uses intimidating, hurtful words and behaviours to control their partner.

A video recently went viral on Facebook of a man who is seen berating and assaulting a woman, who is presumably to be his wife.
In the 47-seconds video, the man in question can be seen striking his wife with a helmet. The woman was repeatedly assaulted and pushed, yet she maintained her composure and showed no signs of resistance.
Malaysians express their rage in the comment section saying that the behaviour is inexcusable, “I’ve known a man like this. The best thing to do now is just walk away from him.”
“How useless, can’t even take care and respect his own wife. He’s brave because his wife is not fighting back. He does not want to come across someone like me,” another person said.
The video was shared on a Facebook group last Thursday (26 January) and has since garnered over 75,000 views at the time of writing.
