Traveling overseas and capturing memories on social media has become a common trend for those fortunate enough to have the means. However, it's crucial to remember that not everyone has the luxury of embarking on such adventures.

The man, who joined a WhatsApp group created by his friend to reconnect with their secondary school gang, expected a nostalgic experience.

Instead, the conversation took an unfortunate turn when his friends began discussing their travels abroad. Awkwardness filled the air when they discovered that he had never left the country in his entire life.

In his defense, the man shared that he was born into a financially challenged family and had to start working immediately after finishing high school to support his siblings, "My priority was to ensure my younger sisters and brothers had the opportunity to pursue higher education, unlike me," he explained.

During that time, he could only manage to save RM100 per month, although he did not disclose his occupation.

"It's not that I don't want to travel overseas. I simply don't have the financial flexibility that many of you enjoy," he added.

In conclusion, the man urged his friends who had mocked his situation to be considerate of the circumstances some individuals face.

"Not everyone is as fortunate as you, and not everyone can travel without any worries."

Upon stumbling upon the man's heartfelt confession, numerous netizens extended their support and admiration for his commitment to caring for his siblings.

"You're a remarkable brother! Don't compare yourself to others; just be yourself and do what you believe is right. Bless you!"

"Your brothers and sisters are incredibly lucky to have you. Good luck in all your endeavors."

"Stay positive, you're an amazing brother!"
