A heartwarming act of generosity has caught the attention of a popular Penang eatery, Nasi Kandar Sulaiman. For the third time, a Malaysian Indian man has donated RM300 with a special request: to treat the elderly and differently-abled customers to meals at the restaurant.

Sharing the story on Facebook, Nasi Kandar Sulaiman expressed their gratitude, highlighting how the man’s contributions have brightened the day for many. “Alhamdulillah, thanks to his donations, we’ve been able to provide meals to numerous elderly and differently-abled patrons,” the restaurant wrote. “This is his third time donating RM300, each time requesting that we belanja meals for those in need.”
The man’s simple message accompanied his latest donation: “Good morning, boss. Please help the less fortunate and the elderly.”
Photos shared by the eatery show the recipients beaming with joy as they received their complimentary meals, a clear reflection of the impact of his kindness.
The restaurant also praised the donor for his trust and generosity, noting how his contributions help foster unity across different communities. “We believe he is from Kuala Lumpur, yet he placed his trust in us by sending his donation. His heart is truly noble,” they said.
Highlighting the spirit of inclusivity, the restaurant added, “The donor is Indian, but many of those we treated were Chinese and Malay. Charity can bring people together, and insha Allah, we will continue this practice while honouring the trust given to us.”
