Completing a half marathon is already a remarkable achievement, but doing so while guiding a visually impaired friend makes it truly unforgettable.

That was the case at the recent Score Marathon 2025, held last Sunday, where two Malaysian runners captured the admiration of many for their incredible show of teamwork and friendship.
A video that quickly gained attention on TikTok showed runner @ammarnaimazmi running alongside his visually impaired companion, @adryfazmi. The two were connected by a resistance band, which allowed them to stay in sync throughout the 21KM course. Every step of the way, they worked together to navigate the run, supporting one another until they reached the finish line side by side.
The touching footage melted hearts across social media. Many users left messages of encouragement and praise, with some sharing that they had spotted the duo during the race.
“I saw them at the finish line holding hands. I thought they were just close friends, but knowing the story behind it makes it even more special,” one person commented.
Their run served as a powerful reminder that friendship and determination can overcome any challenge, and that true strength lies in helping each other cross the finish line—together.
