Pop icon Lady Gaga surprised fans in Singapore when she was spotted boarding a commercial flight from Changi Airport in the early hours of 26 May.

Clips uploaded to Xiaohongshu, a Chinese social media platform, showed the global superstar at Terminal 1, dressed head-to-toe in black with platform heels, calmly making her way through airport security. Accompanied by at least two people, the 39-year-old was en route to Dubai on an Emirates flight that departed at 1.40am.
The sight of Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, taking a regular commercial flight rather than a private jet quickly became a talking point online.
Netizens were amused and impressed by her choice, with some joking about the experience, "Is she going to take off those shoes at security?" one user teased, referencing airport protocols. Another quipped, "Lady Gaga taking midnight flights now? She’s basically me."

One fan was particularly stunned to learn they may have unknowingly shared the same flight, "Just sent my friend off on that plane, and now I find out Lady Gaga was on it? My friend doesn’t even have Wi-Fi on board. She’s probably fast asleep next to Gaga!"
The Rain on Me singer had just wrapped up a four-show run in Singapore, with concerts held on 18, 19, 21 and 24th May. This was her only stop in Asia for the tour.

During her stay, she also carved out time to explore the local scene. On 20 May, she was reportedly seen having lunch at Maxwell Food Centre in Chinatown with her team. Fans at the hawker centre were treated to a rare encounter as she even paused to sign someone’s Mayhem album.
Only Lady Gaga could go from a stadium stage to a seat in economy and still steal the spotlight.
