Kuala Lumpur has recently become a major hub for K-pop concerts, attracting numerous famous K-pop artists and groups to perform.

The genre is incredibly popular in Malaysia, and fans there have unique and heartfelt ways of showing their appreciation.
A recent example of this occurred on June 22nd, when K-pop singer Ailee performed live in Kuala Lumpur. A video shared by @zyamhdsd captures a memorable moment from the concert: Ailee receiving a traditional Malay costume, the kebaya, from the designer himself during her performance.
The surprises didn't stop there. To celebrate Ailee's birthday, which was on May 30th, her fans presented her with a cake from one of Malaysia’s top celebrity pastry chefs. Zya, the fan who posted the video, explained, “We Ailee fans surprised her with a cake from one of the best celebrity pastry chefs in Malaysia.”
The video shows Ailee's joy as she receives the kebaya, complimenting its beauty and asking when she could wear it. Fans humorously suggested her wedding day. Zya expressed her belief that the pink kebaya would look perfect on Ailee and hoped to see her wearing it during the concert.
Reflecting on the event, Zya shared, “It was a concert that I’ll never forget. Seeing Ailee’s expression and emotion as her fans kept surprising her made it a memorable night for all of us.” The heartfelt gestures from the fans created an unforgettable experience, highlighting the strong bond between Ailee and her supporters.
