KTM Calls Out Men Who Were Spotted Riding In The Ladies’ Coach

Public transport company Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) shared a reel on their Facebook page that showed a woman's perspective when she entered the women’s coach only to see that it was full of men.

The post, which was posted last Thursday (August 11th) shows footage of male passengers casually using their phones while being in the coach that are meant for ladies.

The recognisable pink “This is a female coach. Female only” banner can also be seen above their seats.

KTMB wrote: “We only have one request. We kindly request ALL male KTM passengers to take other coaches.”

The video has since garnered over 91,000 views and 870 comments, with many taking to the comment section to share their thoughts on the issue.

Some pointed out that there are female passengers who actually don’t use the ladies’ coach and prefer to ride in the regular ones, which KTM kindly responded by saying, “We will ask the female passengers to prioritize filling up the ladies coaches first.”
