If you’re the type to pick out the veggies from your wrap or kebab, one night market vendor has a message for you — it’ll cost you.

A TikTok user named Sen recently went viral after posting a video of a stall at a pasar malam that caught their eye. The vendor, who sells Roti John, kebabs, pitas, and wraps, has a sign that reads: “Don’t want vegetables, extra RM1.”
It’s not something you see every day, and naturally, it sparked plenty of reactions online. While some were surprised by the extra charge, others responded with jokes and theories about the logic behind it.
One user quipped, “This could be a secret plan to make Malaysians eat more vegetables. Maybe even a KKM initiative in disguise.” Another joked, “This is how we fight malnutrition — one kebab at a time.”
Others, however, took a more practical view. “Think about it — if you remove the veggies, they probably have to compensate with more meat to fill the wrap. That extra RM1 covers the difference,” someone explained.
Regardless of the reason, it’s safe to say this vendor has flipped the usual narrative. Instead of charging more for extra ingredients, they’re charging more for less. Love it or not, it’s a creative way to balance cost, and maybe, just maybe… encourage a few more people to eat their greens.
