An Indonesian couple made headlines when the groom presented Coldplay concert tickets as part of the dowry, according to the Straits Times.
A video uploaded on Twitter on Saturday by rhfndtaaa showed the gift exchange, captioned as "the groom married with dowry in the form of Coldplay concert tickets."
In the video clip, the groom is seen holding the hand of the bride's father, who says, "I marry you to my daughter Anastasya Ayu Widiadana with a dowry of 21 grams of gold, a prayer garment, and Coldplay concert tickets."
The groom expresses his acceptance of the marriage.
The clip was later shared by a Coldplay fan account on Instagram, @idwantscoldplay, and went viral on social media.
The bride also shared several news articles about her unique dowry on her Instagram account.
Coldplay is set to hold their first-ever performance in Indonesia at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on November 15 as part of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour.
Tickets for Coldplay concerts in the region, including Indonesia and Malaysia, have sparked a ticket war due to high demand.
This has led to ticket scalpers reselling the concert tickets at prices up to six times the original value in both countries.
In Indonesia, exclusive pre-sales for the concert were available only for Bank Central Asia ticket holders earlier this month, and they sold out within 30 minutes.
Other ticket types have also been sold out, according to TEM Presents, one of the local concert promoters, via their Instagram account last week.
The band is also scheduled to perform at Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Malaysia on November 22.
