A video recently went viral of a young girl who was showing her mother her examination results.
The 29-seconds TikTok video, shared by user @nurhafzan6644, shows the little girl’s exam results where she took 9 subjects and got A’s for all 8 of them, including scoring 100% on two of the subjects.
However, she got a B for her Bahasa Melayu, in which her mother asked: “Why did you get a B for Bahasa Melayu?”
The girl then hilariously answered, “It’s because I’m not from Kelantan.”
Her mother was a little surprised by her daughter’s answer, however, to not discourage her, she told her daughter to study more and practice her Malay so that she could do better next time.
The video has since garnered over 688,000 views at the time of writing.
Malaysians, especially Kelantanese took to the comment section to share their amusement, “That is actually a very interesting answer. Well done, we would’ve never thought of that!”
