The Muse Ecopark, known for its dedication to nature and wildlife, welcomed these gentle giants with open arms, providing them with a much-needed respite from their usual duties.
Arriving under the care of the Department of Wildlife and National Parks Peninsular Malaysia (Perhilitan), the elephants were greeted with warmth and kindness from both park staff and visitors alike.
For those unfamiliar, 'Gajah Denak' refers to elephants that have been rescued from the wild and trained to assist Perhilitan in managing wild elephant populations. These elephants play a crucial role in maintaining harmony between humans and wildlife.
The heartwarming moment, captured and shared by Nik Aidil Marina Nik Sapeia on TikTok, quickly spread across social media platforms, touching the hearts of millions within just a couple of days. In the video, one of the elephants, named Sanum, is seen enjoying a refreshing shower provided by Nik Aidil Marina using a firehose prepared by the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM).
As Sanum revels in the gentle spray of water, another elephant can be seen resting comfortably inside a Perhilitan truck, reminiscent of the care and attention they receive on their journey to the park.
After the shower, Nik Aidil Marina treats Sanum to a delicious snack of fresh fruits, delighting the elephant with each bite. Not forgetting the companion elephant, Nik Aidil Marina extends the same kindness, offering her a selection of fruits to enjoy.
How cute! In a world often filled with turmoil, moments like these shine brightly, warming our hearts and renewing our faith in the goodness that surrounds us.
