M'sian Shares Her Dad's New ‘Cat Photographer’ Role for Their Cats at Home After His Retirement

A heartwarming moment captured the internet's attention when a woman shared a video of her father with their family cat, Abang Boboy. 

The retired police officer, now exploring new roles during his retirement, showcased his creative flair by dressing up the cat in a pair of sunglasses and a hat.

In the video, posted by TikTok user @DayahSazihan, she playfully addressed the curiosity surrounding her dad's activities post-retirement. With a laugh, she revealed, "This is my dad's new profession after retirement." 

The heartwarming scene unfolds as her dad, adorned with a warm smile, carefully arranges the accessories on the well-behaved Abang Boboy, seated comfortably in the family's living room massage chair.

Amidst the adorable shenanigans, Dayah's dad couldn't help but compliment the cat, saying: "Aren't you handsome?" He then captured the charming moment by snapping a photo on his phone, intending to share the cuteness on WhatsApp.

The video quickly became viral, amassing over 3.8 million views, with netizens sharing their amusement at the endearing interaction between Dayah's dad and the cat. One TikTok user jokingly said: "Your cat is being forced to work for a bowl of kibbles," while another praised the cat's behavior, stating: "Your cat is so well-behaved."

Dayah shared that her father is not a cat lover, however, he has developed a deep affection for their 33 cats at home since his retirement.

In an interview with Harian Metro, she disclosed, "If you'd like to know, my dad actually doesn't like cats, but because he spends most of his time at home now, you can see that he has grown fond of them." 

She added that both her parents now actively care for the cats, with Dayah and her siblings contributing during their free time.
