Recently, Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing was appointed as the Tourism Ambassador for Visit Melaka 2024, sparking a wave of excitement. She visited Melaka from June 14 to June 16, and her presence was highly anticipated.
When Fan Bing Bing first appeared in Melaka, she amazed everyone with her outfit: a pink embroidered Nyonya kebaya paired with a teal batik skirt. She visited several famous spots in the city, signed flyers, and handed them out to her fans.
On June 16, she posted on Instagram wearing another stunning outfit—a white lacey kebaya top and a silky greyish-blue skirt, with ixora flowers clipped in her hair, looking absolutely beautiful.
Fan Bing Bing also enjoyed some of Melaka's popular foods. In a video, she tried the famous Melaka cendol and said it was yummy. She then drank some lemongrass tea. She also posed with some big, yellow durians and tried them using chopsticks. After the first bite, she did a little happy dance and said, “Yeah, it’s so sweet!”
In her Instagram captions, she gave the food five thumbs up, showing how much she loved it.
Hopefully, Fan Bing Bing’s visit and her role as Tourism Ambassador will help Melaka attract a lot of tourists in the future.
