“Is This CPR?” M’sians Question S’pore Family Shaking Their Car “Violently” While Pumping Petrol In Johor

A family of four, including an elderly woman and three children were seen aggressively bouncing their Singapore-registered car while filling it up with gas at a petrol station in Johor Bahru.

The video was shared on the 你想知道的秘密 Secret Facebook page last Monday (2 January).

It is said that the woman and the three children were shaking the car for two whole minutes, by repeatedly pressing down on the boot while another person is seen filling the tank with petrol. 

The video has since garnered over 854,000 views at the time of writing.

Malaysians took to the comment section to express their confusion, “Why are they doing CPR on the car?”

They also pointed out that locals in Malaysia would never be seen acting in such a way in public. Others questioned whether it was okay to shake the car so “violently.”

“They probably want to make sure that the Singapore petrol and the Malaysia petrol are mixed well,” one person said jokingly.
