Have you seen one of those Crosswalk Concert or Crosswalk the Musical videos that have been going around on YouTube?
The Crosswalk Concert or Crosswalk the Musical includes artists like BTS, Harry Styles, the casts of Disney’s Aladdin (2019) and Disney’s Frozen The Musical performing their hit songs with The Late Late Show host, James Corden.
These impromptu musicals and concerts take place in Los Angeles, California at an intersection outside The Late Late Show’s studio, during the rush hour, songs are performed by the guest artists while cars wait at the red light.

However, this trend has now reached Malaysia after a video went viral of people performing at an intersection in Kuala Lumpur.
In the video, a few cars can be seen stopping at a red light before a group of people started appearing and later singing in the middle of the crosswalk.
But what caught our attention was while they were busy dancing, Azwan Ali or more famously known on the internet as Diva AA suddenly made a special appearance, which made the whole thing a lot more entertaining.
Netizens, of course, had a lot to say about the whole situation, however, many people were entertained by the little crosswalk concert: “It’s a pretty cool idea to do this at a stop light. At least we don’t get bored in our cars.”
The video has since garnered over 183,000 views at the time of writing.
What do you guys think of this?
While we don’t condone standing in the middle of the road as it can be very dangerous, it’s also fun to see that Malaysians are being supportive of local artists promoting their music and actually enjoying the little concert.
