A cluster of friends found themselves on the periphery of Coldplay's concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on the evening of November 22, after falling victim to an unauthorized ticketing scam.

TikTok user, @thedrproperty, documented the unfortunate turn of events through a series of videos depicting him and his friends lingering outside the stadium when they discovered that their tickets were rendered invalid at the turnstiles. Despite enduring hours of queuing in the rain since early morning, their anticipation was met with disappointment.
One video caption starkly conveyed the predicament: "Ticket not valid! We were scammed." Another clip captured the resigned acceptance of their fate: "Now, we have to sit outside the stadium and listen to the concert.
“At least we can feel like we were a part of the concert," lamented the TikTok user.
According to @thedrproperty, the financial toll on him and his friends amounted to approximately RM70,000 collectively. In response to queries in the comments section, he disclosed the unsettling revelation that they had procured the tickets from third-party individuals, some of whom were acquaintances.
"We bought the tickets in groups. Some of us purchased VIP tickets for more than RM3,000, some of us bought tickets for RM758 and RM598. The total cost is between RM60,000 and RM70,000," he revealed to a concerned netizen.
Critics on TikTok chastised the group for not obtaining tickets from official sources, to which the desperate fan responded by explaining that the concert had sold out within an hour, leaving them with limited options.
