The video, shared by TikTok user @kltraveller, captures Australian singer Alli Simpson and her mother, Angie Simpson, riding an LRT along the Kelana Jaya line. A camera crew is visible, recording their actions, suggesting they might be checking the train route.
Both contestants are seen with backpacks, and Angie Simpson holds the competition's distinctive tear-strip yellow envelope in one hand, however, the footage is reportedly from 2023.
The mother-daughter duo participated in The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition, a competition that ultimately crowned Darren McMullen and his nephew Tristan Dougan as the winners, although with a unique twist!
Instead of stepping onto the mat at the finishing line, the duo chose to wait for the other teams, prioritising all the teams' charities.
In a surprising turn of events, The Amazing Race Australia announced the second season of its Celebrity Edition in late October of the previous year, scheduled for 2024.
