This season will shine a spotlight on two fan-favourite characters: Penelope Featherington, played by Nicola Coughlan, and Colin Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Newton.
A distinctive feature of "Bridgerton" is its innovative use of orchestral covers of modern pop songs. The American musical ensemble, Vitamin String Quartet, known for their classical renditions of various genres such as pop, rock, metal, and hip-hop, has contributed significantly to the show's unique musical identity.
Their work has been featured on numerous television series, including "Gossip Girl," "The Vampire Diaries," "House," and "Modern Family," but it is perhaps most memorably integrated into "Bridgerton."
In 2022, the Vitamin String Quartet engaged with the BTS fanbase, known as ARMYs, on Twitter (now X), asking which BTS song they would like to see featured in the upcoming season of "Bridgerton." They encouraged fans to voice their opinions using hashtags for both BTS and "Bridgerton."
As the release of the first part of "Bridgerton" Season 3 approaches, Netflix has unveiled the list of orchestral covers to be featured, and to the delight of many fans, a BTS song has made the cut. The chosen track is the global hit "Dynamite."
The excitement among ARMYs is palpable, with many eagerly anticipating the orchestral version of "Dynamite." However, some fans expressed disappointment, believing that "Black Swan" would have been a more fitting choice. "Black Swan" was overwhelmingly favoured in the initial fan poll conducted by the Vitamin String Quartet.
Despite this, there remains hope among fans that "Black Swan" might still appear. Only the tracklist for the first part of the season has been released, with the second part scheduled to drop next month.
