In a touching story, a Malaysian couple marked the end of 2023 with their wedding, but not everything went according to plan. The bride ended up in the hospital and, following the doctor's advice, couldn't be discharged.
However, determined to proceed, she decided to be part of the wedding virtually.

Expressing her sadness on TikTok (@tyazara_), Fatihah apologised to her husband for not being physically present on their special day. Despite the distance, her husband wore a sweet smile during the online ceremony.
Yet, tears welled up as he spoke to his bride via video call from the wedding dais. Fatihah, lying in her hospital bed, didn't let her illness dampen her commitment to the celebration.
Their e-wedding took place on December 30th, 2023, six years after they first got together. Although unexpected health issues kept them physically apart, the wedding was a success, and both families were understanding.
It's a testament to their strong bond that the groom carried on with the wedding, even without his bride physically present. In the face of unique circumstances, the families embraced the unconventional celebration.
