According to the Los Angeles Times, even Silk Sonic’s superduo, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak have asked their audiences to keep their mobile phones in small pouches at their residency at the Park MGM in Las Vegas, and once secured, the pouches can only be unlocked electronically at a station near the entrance of the venue.

However, recently, a video went viral on TikTok of BLACKPINK’s Jennie telling fans to put their phones down a few days after the South Korean girl group's concert in London.
Three different clips were compiled together in a 20-second video with the first one showing member, Jennie, talking to the crowd, saying: “We want to see BLINKS' face, not their phones. We want to look each other in the eyes and sing our songs together.”
“We want to be back in London, so show us what you have,” Jennie says in the following video.
In the third clip, Rosé can be heard telling the audience to put their light sticks up: "I want to see more light sticks up! Yes, that's exactly what we want!" as the audience applauds and BLINKS raises their lightsticks.
BLINKS and other Twitter users have each expressed their opinions about the video that has since gone viral online.
“BLACKPINK doesn't deserve that at all. Those girls worked too hard to have to deal with that,” a user commented. "That is just sad, that your artist gotta tell y'all to put the phones down and hype them up like BLACKPINK don't deserve that at all.”
The video has since garnered over 269,000 views on TikTok at the time of writing and over 1.7 million views after it was reshared on Twitter.
