TikTok user, @izzatizwan_official recently shared a video of a group of firefighters freeing a kitten that was caught inside a rat trap, which has since gone viral online!
According to the video, it is believed that the public called the fire department after noticing a kitten trapped inside a rat trap.
The abang bomba were quick to arrive at the scene and immediately assessed the situation. They can be seen in the video using pliers to break the metal hoot that was lodged in the kitten’s mouth before they are able to free it from the trap.
Oh, poor little thing, that looks so painful!
The kitten was then seen being placed in an animal carrier, presumably to be transported to a veterinarian for further treatment.
The video has since garnered over 1.3 million views at the time of writing.
