That is a year’s worth of parking fees!
Have you ever encountered a parking fee that’s close to RM6,000? Well, recently TikTok user @mummyjlo shared her shock over how she was charged RM5,811 for an hour’s parking.

That’s crazy!
In the video, the woman can be seen walking towards her car which was stopped in front of a boom gate.
She then showed the figures shown on the screen, “Look at this! I came in at 11:30pm until 12:30am and guess how much I have to pay? RM5,811!”
She added that the management claimed she had parked her car since May 2021 as it shows on their system records and insisted on her paying the fee.
However, she lodged a police report at a station which then the management relented and proceeded to check the CCTV footage to see the exact time she entered the parking lot, “It took us an hour to settle this, but I had to pay RM3 only.”
The video has since garnered over 1.4 million views at the time of writing.
Netizens also took to the comment section to discuss the possible reasons for the ridiculous fee, while others asked where the incident had taken place.
But the place has yet to be disclosed…
