A woman in Tawau, Sabah was nearly killed when a car lost control and crashed into a counter at a petrol station.

However, the incident causes substantial damage to the counter.

According to Tawau Police chief, Asst Comm Jasmin Hussin said the 52-year-old woman did not suffer any major injuries, just some cuts and scrapes on her legs.

“The driver apparently stepped on the accelerator thinking it was the brake after starting the engine which causes the car to move forward and crash into the counter,” he explained.

Further checks found that the driver did not have a driver’s license. Alamak!

Guys, remember! Driving without a license is a serious offense and it’s very dangerous!

If you are not a licensed driver, you’re most likely to be in fatal crashes and engage in high-risk driving behaviors like impaired driving, speeding, and driving unrestrained.

So get yourself licensed, and be responsible on the road! Stay safe!
