A video recently went viral on TikTok of a medical frontliner who was coaxing an Orang Asli mother who tested positive for COVID-19, with her nine-month-old baby.
The incident allegedly happened in Kampung Orang Asli Langkap, Negeri Sembilan.

The video was uploaded by user Azrul Zubir, a 31-year-old assistant medical officer who had to climb a 500 meter hill to find the woman.
“Fully dressed in PPE, it’s difficult for us to climb up a hill to find them. A man whom we call Tok Batin came to help us. Their house was located deep into the orchard.
“We had to find the mother and her baby as there was no reception in that area and they could not be contacted via mobile and their home was very far away,” he said as reported by Astro AWANI.
He also said that the mother understood what was going on and he managed to persuade her to go and get treatment at the hospital along with her 9-month-old baby.
So sad!
We’re glad that they are now at the hospital getting treatment. Hope they’re doing well!
