Police arrested two men after they were suspected of being involved in a robbery at a dental clinic in Taman Melati on Saturday (June 26th), while two other suspects are still unknown.
According to Astro AWANI, Wangsa Maju police chief Supt Ashari Abu Samah said that the two suspects, aged 30 and 32 respectively, were arrested about four hours after the robbery.

The police are still looking for two more suspects believed to be involved in the robbery as well.
“Police have seized a Proton Saga car as well as a machete suspected to have been used in the incident and after some checks, both suspects have past records related to crime and drugs.
“Anyone who has information regarding this incident is requested to come forward by contacting the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters at 03-928992222 or the Kuala Lumpur Police Hotline at 03-21159999, or any nearby police station,” he said in a statement.

Ashari added that the two suspects were remanded for six days to assist in the investigation and the case will be investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code - whoever commits gang-robbery shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to twenty years, and shall also be liable to whipping.
An estimated amount of RM10,000 was lost during the incident.
