The demand for online food delivery has risen with the COVID-19 pandemic, since most of us are staying home a lot more than we used to before the pandemic.
While the government has allowed fully vaccinated individuals to dine-in at restaurants, many are still hesitant to do so with the high daily number of COVID-19 cases.
Recently, a video went viral on TikTok when a food delivery rider, Khairul Hamizan ended up helping an elderly man to make roti canai for customers while waiting for his order.

The video, which was recorded by his fellow rider, won millions of hearts, while racking up 1.1 million views and 139.9 thousand likes on the platform.
Netizens praised Hamizan and appreciated his kindness to help the Pak Cik who was seen in the video working hard on the orders.
According to Malay Mail, the 24-year-old rider said that the stall is located at Kubang Terong, Tasik Gelugor, Penang and there were already four riders waiting for their orders, while he was the fifth one to arrive with 15 roti canai orders.
Apparently the Pak Cik struggled to cope with the volume of orders.
Realizing that, Hamizan decided to roll up his sleeves and set to work preparing the roti canai while waiting for his order to be dispatched to the customer.
He also said that he has been making roti canai since he was 12-years-old with his parents, who also run a roti canai stall in Kepala Batas, and used to help them during his school breaks and the weekends.
“My parents also sell roti canai. They have a stall in Kepala Batas and are still in business. My mum taught me how to make roti canai while I was in Standard Six.
“I used to help my parents with their business during my school holidays, especially on weekends,” he said.
That is so kind! Thank you, Hamizan for helping the overwhelmed Pak Cik!
