A woman, believed to be an anti-vaxxer, recently went viral on Facebook after she claimed that she and her husband had dined-in at a restaurant despite not receiving both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The couple in their mid-30s were detained by Klang Selatan police after they took to Facebook detailing their trip to a restaurant with their child in a “social experiment”, to see if they would be denied entry into the premises.
She wrote in her Facebook status that in her series of social experiments, she was given entry to several premises, including a convenience store, while her husband had gotten a haircut, alleging that their vaccination status was not checked by the operators.
In her post, she wrote that they had gone to the eatery to see if they would be turned away, adding that they had put on a confident front as though they had “received three vaccine doses.”
“We sat, ate, drank and left. Who said you cannot dine-in if you do not have two doses? Without the two doses, we could safely dine-in this morning. What is impossible? Nothing,” she wrote.
According to NST, Klang Selatan police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli said the duo were apprehended at their Bandar Putera 2 home at about 5 pm.
“We received complaints of the viral posting in which she claimed she had entered several premises and was allowed to dine-in with her child and husband although they have yet to receive their two doses of vaccine.
“Apart from uploading pictures of them eating at the premises, she had also written things that could create fear and worry among the public,” said Amar.

The couple was subsequently released on police bail.
The two are currently being investigated under Section 269 and Section 505(b) of the Penal Code for negligent acts likely to spread infection of any disease dangerous to life.
The case is also being probed under Section 22(b) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 for violating an order issued by authorities as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for sharing offensive and menacing content.
Amar advised the public to abide by the COVID-19 SOPs that were set by the National Security Council (MKN).
