A stray dog, who was given the name Johnny, has been keeping three PDRM officers company at their roadblock in Kota Tinggi, Johor, for over a year now!

Uncle Kentang or his real name Kuan Chee Heng took to his Facebook page to show how the officers have gone above and beyond to help their doggo friend after it had broken its leg and was seriously injured.
After accessing Johnny’s condition, they didn’t know what caused the injury, however, they didn’t have the heart to leave their pal and decided to team up to help the injured dog that has been accompanying them at their roadblocks.
In his Facebook post, Uncle Kentang wrote: “They are Muslims and they are members of the Kota Tinggi police. They don’t have much money but they still want to help their friend, Johnny. I am inspired by these three officers.
“They are sincere. The dog has been accompanying them at their roadblocks for a year now and they didn’t have the heart to see their best buddy suffering from its injuries,” he continued.
In a video shared by Uncle Kentang, it can be seen that the police officers were using plastic bags to carry and transport the dog to the nearest veterinarian.

One of the police officers can be heard comforting Johnny, “It’s okay Johnny, please lie down, you’re okay, we’re bringing you to the clinic.”
After a visit to the veterinarian, Johnny’s injuries turned out to be more serious than expected and he ended up having his leg amputated which cost them RM6,000.
In another post, Uncle Kentang wrote: “Johnny has been referred to a veterinarian in Johor Bahru. These police officers are the best people I’ve ever met, not only did they take the dog for emergency medical attention but they also managed to pay off its high veterinary bills.”

Uncle Kentang also said that they would do anything for their doggo pal as Johnny was there for them at their roadblocks, whenever they’re alone in the middle of the night, and even under pouring rain.
“They pooled money together for Johnny’s treatment, with some help from Uncle Kentang They are the best human beings I’ve ever met,” he said.
