The Korean obsession has been going on for a while now among Malaysians, and let’s be honest, we all have friends who talk about k-dramas non-stop and it doesn’t look like the obsession for them will end any time soon.
But now the tables have turned and an actual Korean is now able to speak our national language, Bahasa Melayu, fluently!
A South Korean girl, Maryam You Narae recently went viral after a 23-seconds clip of her saying “saya lapar nak mampus” went viral on Twitter, and gained over 699 thousand views!
The video is a snippet of a live Facebook stream of Maryam and her husband, Ryzal Ibrahim who is apparently a Malaysian from Kelantan!
They both are currently residing in Korea and tied the knot in September last year.
Where can we find more of her videos speaking in Malay, we are already obsessed!
