What do you get when you combine a group of boys, a heroic cat and a naughty rat? A sequel to Tom and Jerry, of course!
In a video posted by one of the boys, a black and white cat by the name of Tom was seen being cheered on by the boys while trying to catch a naughty rat hiding under a fridge.
The boys were anxious, waiting for Tom to make the catch. Some even had broomsticks and dustpans ready, just in case anything went wrong. Tom, however, must have been a professional rat-catcher in his previous life- in just a matter of mere seconds, Tom easily caught the rat in its mouth as the crowd cheered for his victory!
The video has since gone viral with over 80k retweets and Tom’s effort did not go to waste too, as he was later rewarded with the best gift of all… being allowed to sleep on the bed. And the boys? They were happy enough to give Tom all the space he needs by sleeping outside.
But Tom is no amateur. The night after, Tom caught a second rat much to the delight of the boys who celebrated his smooth catch.
We're a bit concerned that there are more than one rat in the boys’ house…
Many congratulated Tom and even ad-libbed what Tom must have been thinking while looking at his screaming owners.
One cat owner also asked Tom to maybe train his cat to have ninja reflexes like him…
While others compared their cats to Tom, wishing that their cat could be a bit more useful around the house…
Either way, we’re completely in love with Tom and hope Tom gets to sleep on the bed, like a king that he is, every night!
