Such a shame! Suria KLCC’s RASA Food Arena has officially closed down for good, after 22 years of serving us good food!
If you didn’t know, RASA Food Arena is located on the fourth floor of Suria KLCC and was one of the two food courts in the shopping mall.
The food court was one of the first tenants when the mall opened in May 1998, too!
...and if you’ve been to Suria KLCC, you’ll know that the food court is always packed with people, on normal days and the weekends.
The heartbreaking news of the closure went viral when someone spotted the sign outside of the food court entrance, and uploaded it online.
The sign read: “Thank you for your patronage over the wonderful 22 years. It has been our ultimate pleasure to serve you.”
Malaysians, especially those who grew up in Kuala Lumpur, expressed their sadness and reminisced their memories of dining in the food court with their family and friends.
How sad…
Goodbye RASA Food Arena, Suria KLCC. We will miss your nasi ayam penyet and kuey teow sup!
