K.Praveen, a 21-year-old man from Thiruthangal in Virudhunagar, Tamil Naidu made it in the India Book of Records for having a 10.8-centimeter long tongue.
According to the University of Edinburgh, the average human male tongue is roughly 8.5 cm long, making K. Praveen's tongue is over 2.5 cm longer and possibly the longest in the world.

Since he began demonstrating to friends and family what he could do with it, the young robotics student has known that his tongue was longer than average... And by that, we mean touching the tip of his nose with it, as well as his elbow and almost his eyes.
Um, what?!
Praveen made it into the Asia Book of Records a few years ago for touching his nose with his tongue 219 times in a minute.
He has also reportedly trained himself to do the controversial yoga technique Khecar Mudr, in which he inserts his colossal tongue into his nasal cavity through the roof of his mouth. It's what he refers to as the "invisible tongue" trick.
Nick Stoeberl of Salinas, California, currently holds the Guinness World Record for the world's longest tongue, with an official length of 10.1 centimeters. That's 0.8cm shorter than K Praveen's.
The Indian student now intends to raise cash and contact an international record group in order to get his tongue recognized officially.

Despite the fact that his achievements have been recorded in India, Praveen aspires to extend his talent worldwide. "This would be possible if the Tamil Nadu government provided me with financial assistance, as I was unable to exhibit my achievements internationally due to a lack of funds."
The robotics student is currently working on touching his eyelids with his tongue, a skill he believes will increase his chances of making the Guinness Book of Records
